Susan Palmer - Managing Director

Susan Palmer and her Company bought the business from Doug Horner back in 1994, so will celebrate 17 years in the industry in November.  As an active Body Corporate Manager for 14 years, her knowledge of the industry and her personal experiences, has provided invaluable assistance to support her dynamic  team of managers and administration staff.  She has a Diploma of Business (Real Estate Management, and served on the CTISA Committee for many years.  Her focus these days is Mentoring her team, and fundraising for the Flinders Medical Research Foundation towards Cancer research.  She believes it is now her turn to give back to society.

 

  

 

Carrie Richmond - CEO & Body Corporate Manager

Carrie Richmond joined the Company straight from school in 2001. She is an experienced and knowledgeable Body Corporate Manager, well versed in all strata related matters. Her promotion to Chief Executive Officer has seen her duties expand to running the administration side of the business. She has a Certificate IV in Business Real Estate Sales, a Certificate IV in Property Management and a Certificate in Strata Management (Level 1). She also has a Certificate II in retail and is a practicing member of the REISA. Her hobbies are socialising with friends, water skiing and spending time at her family shack on the River Murray.

   

Tony Johnson - Body Corporate Manager

Tony joined the team in 2003, bringing with him three years experience in Residential Property Management. His current qualifications are a Certificate IV Business Real Estate Sales, Certificate IV in Property Management and a Certificate II in Commercial Leasing. With a background in customer service and hospitality, Tony is no stranger to being customer focused having run his own hospitality business. Tony is also our IT expert. His drive for development has helped us upgrade our systems, software, methods of payment and connectivity. He is a current practicing member of the REISA. He has a committed love for his three daughters, cars, a wide range of music and the odd game of squash.

  

Heidi Murray - Property Manager / Body Corporate Manager

Heidi joined the team in 2007 as the Personal Assistant to the Body Corporate Managers. Her motivation and skill has seen her extend her role to include Property Management and the management of a small strata portfolio. She comes with seven years in the Real Estate Industry, assisting a team of Sales Agents and Property Managers (in both office administration and full time property management). With her bubbly personality, excellent organisational skills and 'can do' attitude, Heidi is a great help to the Managers and to clients. If you are looking for a service committed Property Manager then Heidi should be the first person you contact. Heidi enjoys calisthenics, skiing and is a dog lover.

  

 

Mark Hawke - Body Corporate Manager

Mark is the latest addition to the team, bringing with him 4 years experience in Body Corporate Management. Mark has been in the Real Estate industry since 1986 starting in Residential Property Management, and (after acquiring qualifications) has worked in Real Estate Sales (both Residential and Commercial) and also Commercial Leasing.  With the exception of a four year break to complete a BA in Ministry at Tabor College, Mark’s working life has centred on helping people achieve their Real Estate goals in one form or another. Married with two adult sons, he is a unit investor and enjoys home renovation, “with a number plated car park at several Hardware stores.” His other interests include ten pin bowling, music (singer/drummer) and being a weekend presenter at Life FM Community Radio.

  

Jenny Jackman - Assistant Body Corporate Manager

Jenny came to Horner Management in early 2010 and is highly experienced in customer service with a background in administration and brings with her 2 years experience within the real estate industry. Jenny has completed a Certificate IV in Property Services as well as a Certificate III in Business (Real Estate Corporate Support). Jenny enjoys spending time with her friends, reading and is an animal lover. 

  

Thelma Horner - Office Manager

Thelma was originally employed by Doug Horner, so her association with Horner Management shares the same period as Susan Palmer, the Principal. Starting in a part time capacity, her skills in all clerical duties saw her quickly promoted to full time and then on to Office Manager. Her long term association with unit owners and her friendly, helpful phone manner makes her very popular. Her interests include reading, travelling and offers her services as a volunteer treasurer for a group of disabled ten pin bowlers.

   

Krysee Dawson - Office Assistant

Krysee came to us in February 2008 from a Real Estate Sales Administration background serving 5 years within the industry; she has completed Certificate II in Business Administration and was honoured with the achievement of Administrator Of The Year 2007 SA/NT by her previous company. Krysee with her endless amounts of energy and enthusiasm has shown to be extremely supportive in her role as office assistant. Krysee enjoys movie nights, online gaming, bearded dragons, motorsports and the beach in summer.
