We are a small family Strata Management Company with a focus on our team because we know that if we look after our employees well, they, in turn, will look after our clients. Evidence of this is our long-serving staff (no one wants to leave!) and our loyal client base. Due to recent growth, we are now offering a long-term contract for the position of Strata Manager in our award-winning business.

Our team environment is why Horner Management consistently takes out the Strata Community Association Awards. Some of the awards we have won are:

  • Small Strata Management Business of the Year

  • Team Leader of the Year

  • Rising Star of the Year

  • Strata Manager of the Year

  • Best Support Person

Do you want to join our award-winning team?

What we can offer you:

  • Competitive salary and great working conditions.

  • 'Open Door' Management and support with a whole team approach that allows individual recognition so you feel appreciated and can shine on your terms.

  • A small, long-standing, highly dedicated, and customer focused team.

  • Tried and proven systems so you cannot fail

You possess:

  • 'Team Spirit.' Contribute ideas that help us retain clients, grow referrals and increase performance.

  • Confident and of good character - you are reliable, resourceful, and responsible.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to run meetings efficiently and effectively.

  • 100% customer service focused

  • Can attend regular after-hours client meetings

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Computer skills

  • Willingness to follow instructions and systems

  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills. Patience to deal with stressed unit owners, frustrated tenants, and strict deadlines from clients.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Maintaining your Strata Portfolio and taking action for issues that arise

  • Meeting preparation and attendance (average of 2 after-hours meetings per week)

  • Creating annual budgets

  • Liaising with clients, building relationships both internally and externally.

  • Working with and appreciating a team of efficient support heroes

  • Adhering to office systems

  • Maintaining and updating knowledge to ensure correct advice is given to clients.

Your Previous Experience

We are looking for a team player who has had at least two years experience in an office environment; if you have worked in real estate or strata before, that would be a bonus, but not necessary.

More important than experience is you!

As a close-knit team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual that will complement our existing team. So if you have some great skills and a great attitude to work and life, we would like to talk to you. We have great success training new employees into well-credentialed Strata Managers.
