We successfully completed the 57 Squat Challenge in March and we are grateful for all the support we received from our donors. Thanks to your generosity, we exceeded our goal and raised over $3000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. These funds will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer by funding world-class research so that in the future, no one has to lose their battle against this disease.
During the fundraiser, we bent and squatted our way through March to raise awareness about breast cancer. We completed 57 squats a day for 31 days to honor those who have fought and those who are fighting cancer.
We know that cancer is a difficult journey, and we have lost fighters, survivors, and those who fought hard but didn't win. One such person was Susan Murray, the former head of Horner Management from 1994 to 2006. She was an exceptional mentor who helped shape our award-winning team, and many clients knew and loved her during her tenure. In November 2020, Susan was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, and despite her fierce determination, she lost her battle on January 28th, 2022.
We participated in the 57 Squat Challenge in memory of Susan and to support further research.
Together, we can save lives and make a difference.
Your support brings us so much closer.
Every day, 57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, and nine lose their lives to this disease. The funds we raised will go towards world-class research to prevent more deaths from cancer in the future.
Thank you once again for all your support, your donations have made a real difference to those affected by cancer.
